I achieved good grades in IT, so I decided to study Business IT at University. However, I found it too theoretical and opted for a more hands-on approach through an apprenticeship. Web development and coding were my strengths, so I pursued a career in this field.

Lack of detailed information provided for tasks is a common challenge. Overcoming this requires seeking clarity and communication to ensure the precise requirements are understood.
Q.Can you share your approach to creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites?
Simplifying and keeping the website concise with quality imagery is key. Users want quick access to information, so avoiding overcrowding is essential for a positive user experience.

Networking with peers in similar roles helps me stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in web development.
Q.What are some key factors you consider when planning and executing a web development project?
Identifying the main purpose of the site, client branding, site scale, and optimizing site speed are crucial considerations during project planning.

One challenging project was the Consilio information map, where user interaction and performance were key issues. I addressed this challenge by building a customized solution from scratch for a smoother user experience.

Practical experience through a job or apprenticeship is invaluable in learning the skills needed for web development.
Q.How do you ensure the websites you develop are optimized for performance and accessibility?
Basic accessibility rules and optimizing page load speed through image optimization and caching apps are essential practices.

I'm excited about the potential of AI, particularly ChatGPT, for streamlining repetitive tasks in web development.
