The UK Fashion & Textiles Association (UKFT) is the largest network for fashion and textile companies in the United Kingdom. They bring together designers, manufacturers, suppliers, agents, and retailers to collaborate and promote their businesses in the UK and worldwide! 🌍

UKFT approached UNBXD to create a new brand identity and website representing their significance in the UK Textiles and Fashion industry.

For UKFT, we wanted to keep the branding to a modern and editorial style - taking inspiration from the fashion industry. UKFT’s target audience is 11-18 year-olds and university students, as well as teachers and lecturers who want to learn more about fashion and textiles. For this reason, we wanted to keep the colours vibrant but also friendly, warm and inviting, also making sure it stood out without leaning too far toward the younger audience. The gradients help to make the solid colours pop from the designs. The website has been designed to be user-friendly whilst engaging for the younger audience wanting to learn more about textiles. We did this by keeping the design clean and minimal by adding in simple interactions.
